On Monday I went to Virginia Mason Hospital to have my kidney stone blasted by the super-powerful ESWL machine. My doctor explained to me that this is a first-generation machine with a more powerful, less-focused beam. The procedure went well, and I was home by about 3:30 in the afternoon. I’m drinking a lot of water (two large glasses per hour) feeling good today, and working from home.
