Hurricane Relief; Red Cross Banner Ads

Erlier today I posted a challenge to the Syndic8 user community. After Syndic8 made an initial donation of $250 to the Red Cross, I offered to match another $250 in donations. In less than 10 minutes my challenge was met (by a single person), and I happily donated another $250, bringing the total to $750.

The Amazon Hurricane Katrina Relief Page lists over $1.2 million dollars in donations as of 9 PM PST. Not bad at all.

Reading the evening’s email, I see that the Red Cross is now offering a series of banner ads to web site owners. I just put one into my ad rotation.

Surely there’s something you can do.
