Browser Stats for Syndic8.com — Firefox beats IE, 49% to 41%

A few weeks ago I installed the Mint web statistics package on Syndic8. I had always figured that the Syndic8 audience was out on the leading edge, given the nature of the subject matter and the fact that the main page is, shall I say, a bit information rich. Such a leading edge audience would be inclined to use Firefox, of course. I was, however, surprised to see that fully 49% of the page views were from Firefox users. Here’s a snapshot of the stats:

The final release of Firefox 1.5 is right around the corner; with any luck this will spur another surge in adoption.

By the way, Mint isn’t free; it costs $30 per domain. Well worth it, in my opinion.
