Success!

less than 1 minute read

I had my polyp procedure this morning. My wife and I arrived at the outpatient surgery center adjacent to Overlake Hospital at about 9:40 this morning. I checked in, and got to tell the doctor about my little adventure with the CT scan data. He thought that was pretty cool.

After a brief wait they put me to sleep for the procedure. I woke up about 2 hours later, and after lounging around for about 90 minutes we came home. I’m on Percocet and feeling fine, but I do need to take it really easy for the rest of the week so that everything can heal properly. I’ve got a bit of gauze suspended under my nose to catch any drippings, and I need to keep myself fully hydrated.

I’d like to thank all of the well-wishers who have left comments on the blog or who have sent me private emails. Those little gestures do make a difference.
