Simple AWS Site

As part of my job, I tell developers time and time again how easy it is to create a site powered by the Amazon Web Services.

In the interest of practicing what I preach, I recently decided to see if I could create a useful site in a matter of a couple of hours. Fortunately, it turned out that I could.

The result is my Developer Books site, found at http://www.developer-books.com. I built this site using PHP and the AmazonLib component.

Traffic to the site has been growing bit by bit (it went online at the bginning of this month).

I am also going to use the site as a test-bed for various SEO (Search Engine Optimization) experiments; more news on that as it happens.
