WordPress 1.5 Upgrade

For no particularly good reason, I have been slow to upgrade my WordPress 1.2 installation to the newest version, which is now 1.5.2.

After listening to a podcast interview with Matt Mullenweg, I decided to give it a whirl, and it was totally painless. I need to redo some of the custom edits that I had done to my old template, but this shouldn’t be a big deal. I may need to create a new version of my spam-blocking comment verification, but I will do this only if the default filtering in WordPress proves to be inadequate.

The sound quality on that podcast could be better (from reading Matt’s blog it appears that he called in using Skype), but give it a listen anyway.
