Text On a Prim!

I have come up with a way to put arbitrary text on a Second Life prim (short for primitive). I used the media commands and a PHP script. Here’s what it looks like:

You can set the text by sending messages to channel 1 using the say command.

I need to do a lot of packaging and to set this up on another server before I can turn it loose on the world. Until I do this, I won’t have time to answer a whole bunch of questions about it, but feel free to blog about it or to add your 2 cents in the comments.
