My son Andy and I built a raised garden this spring, and Andy filled it (and a whole bunch of other containers) with peppers, tomatoes and corn. Before the growing season started, Andy collected seeds from some specialty growers around the country. He nurtured those little plants all summer and today he harvested his reward, a veritable cornucopia. Here’s the proud farmer:
