Well-meaning family members often send me large emails with embedded Powerpoint slide shows imploring me to “check this out.” I have to apologetically tell them that I don’t open attachments from random places.
I propose that an alternative meaning for SOA (which usually means Service-Oriented Architecture) should be “Stamp Out Attachments.”
Just don’t send them around. They are potential virus carriers and they fill up my mailbox.
You can get some good results if you search for Attachments considered harmful.
